About theDAC

Senior technology brains, not another supplier pushing tools

The Digital Advisory Collective is a small, senior technology and digital consulting firm. We work with organisations across the Czech Republic, Europe and the UK that depend on technology, but do not want to hand everything to a large consultancy or rely blindly on a single supplier.

What we do (in one paragraph)

We help you get control of your technology estate – cloud, M365, on-prem and networks – make it secure and resilient, and then build on that with sensible AI and automation. We sit between your leadership, your internal IT and your suppliers, making sure decisions are sound, architecture holds together, and money is spent where it really matters.

Mission

To help organisations run technology and AI as a disciplined business function – with clear architecture, robust suppliers, and confident people – instead of a messy collection of projects and tools.

Vision

Any SME or mid-market organisation in Europe can access top-tier technology consulting – strategist, architect, security and AI advisor – without hiring a large consultancy or building a big internal IT department.

Our Principles

These aren't marketing slogans. They're the rules we actually follow when working with clients.

01

Real consulting, not resourcing

We are not an agency selling CVs. We are brought in to think, challenge, design and govern. If you need more hands, we help you define what they should deliver and how they should be measured.

02

Supplier-agnostic, but very supplier-aware

We do not sell hosting, licences or managed services. That means we can look at your suppliers' work and proposals with a cold eye – and tell you what's fair, what's weak and what's missing.

03

Strategy and architecture that survive contact with reality

We design strategies, target architectures and roadmaps that your existing teams and suppliers can actually deliver – and we stay close enough to the detail to keep them honest.

04

Foundations first, then AI

AI is powerful, but only when you have reasonable identity, data, security and collaboration foundations. We will not push AI gimmicks on top of a shaky estate; we will help you fix the basics and then use AI for real value.

05

Right-sized for your organisation

We adapt the depth of documentation, governance and process to your size and maturity. No ten-volume methodologies – just enough structure to make things work and stand up to scrutiny.

06

Lean, focused and transparent

Small teams, clear scope, visible progress. We don't hide behind jargon. We explain options, trade-offs and risks so you can make informed decisions.

Leadership

Michal Minařík

Founder & CTO

Michal founded The Digital Advisory Collective to provide organisations with the kind of independent, senior technology advice that's usually only available through large consultancies – but without the overhead, the sales agenda, or the endless stream of junior staff.

With deep expertise across cloud platforms, M365, security, architecture and AI, Michal works directly with clients – from board-level strategy discussions to hands-on technical reviews. When you engage theDAC, you're working with senior people who understand both the business and the technical detail.
